(KPTV) - One person died, and another was injured in a shooting at a Vancouver bar parking lot early Saturday morning, according to the Vancouver Police Department.VPD said just before 3 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of the Spot Tavern on Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard. When they arrived, they found two men shot. One died, and the other was taken to a hospital. Police did not provide details about what led to the shooting.“It was a rough thing to watch this morning,” Tyson Starks, who works nearby, said. “(It) definitely shook up my day.”People who work near the Fourth Plain Center Shopping Plaza in Vancouver said they started their day with a heavy heart. Neighboring businesses tell us it happened in the parking lot of the shopping plaza.“I was just trying to stay away from it most of the morning,” Starks said. “But I had my doors closed and everything. I still heard her screaming after seeing her loved one on the ground out here.”The major crimes team is investigating.
