Investigation ongoing for drive-by shooting in Vancouver, Washington 🚔

According to an announcement made by Public Affairs Specialist Andrew Nevue on November 30, 2023, local law enforcement agencies are currently investigating a case of a drive-by shooting that occurred on the premises of apartment complex 11614 NE 49th Street, Vancouver, Washington. The incident took place early in the morning, approximately at 12:10 a.m.

Upon receiving the distress call, Vancouver Police promptly arrived at the scene where they discovered a 25-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot injuries. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention due to his critical condition. Fortunately, no other casualties or injuries were reported in relation to the incident.

A thorough investigation on this case is being conducted by the Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Crime Reduction Unit. Further updates regarding this incident will be provided as the investigation progresses.
