According to TourismOhio, Ohio ranks 11th in the nation for milk production, with more than 1,400 dairy farms across Ohio. To help residents and visitors find the perfect scoop of ice cream, TourismOhio created the Ohio Ice Cream Trail.
White Castle in Trotwood to become 24-hour operation on weekends
As White Castle is strengthening its “Night Castle” branding, a location in the Dayton region is planning to expand its hours to accommodate late-night Cravers. Tommy Loveberry, White Castle’s regional director in Cincinnati, said the Trotwood location has plans to be open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays before the summer ends.

RiverScape Cafe Announces New Seasonal Menu and Hours
A favorite local cafe is adding new items and extending its hours for the summer season. This summer, the RiverScape Cafe, located at 111 E. Monument Avenue, will be open from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with happy hour specials from 5 to 7 p.m. RiverScape management says that afternoon crowds are not as heavy as they were pre-COVID, so a shift to evening hours makes sense for the cafe. The shift to later hours also provides the opportunity for the RiverScape Cafe to offer an elevated menu including a variety of flatbread pizzas, appetizers, and desserts. RiverScape also now offers a variety of summer cocktails, beer, and wine, as Five Rivers MetroParks was issues a permanent alcohol permit.
