Evansville murder trial ends in mistrial
EVANSVILLE, In (WEHT) – The trial for an Evansville man accused of murdering his grandmother has ended in a mistrial. Police say that John Stevens called 911 claiming he found Betty Stevens dead in June of 2022. Authorities say they found her credit cards and mail in John Steven’s backpack and he had her blood on his shirt.
