Madison Iseman has been cast as Sarah Plankmore in “The Rainmaker” series at USA Network.

The official logline for the series states, “Fresh out of law school, Rudy Baylor goes head-to-head with courtroom lion Leo Drummond (John Slattery) and his law school girlfriend. Rudy, along with his boss and her disheveled paralegal, uncovers two connected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client’s son.”

Plankmore is described as a recent law school graduate and Rudy’s girlfriend in a show that was initially picked up at the cabler in June and is based on the iconic John Grisham novel of the same name.

The role of Rudy Baylor has yet to be cast.

Iseman co-starred in “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and “American Horror Stories.” On the film side, she’ll next be seen in “Witchboard.” Her previous credits include the “Jumanji” franchise, “Fear of Rain,” “Knights of the Zodiac,” “Clouds,” “Nocturne” and “Annabelle Comes Home.”

She is repped by IAG, Principal Entertainment LA, and Yorn Levine.

Michael Seitzman is the writer and executive producer. Jason Richman also executive produced and co-wrote the pilot with Seitzman. Grisham, David Gernert and Jason Blum serve as executive producers as well. The series hails from Lionsgate Television and Blumhouse Television. The Lionsgate/Blumhouse team comes as the two studios recently decided to partner on a multi-picture film deal, with Blumhouse reimagining horror classics from the Lionsgate library.

The two had previously collaborated on 2024’s “Imaginary.” Soon after the film’s release, they announced plans to “reimagine” the 90s horror sensation “The Blair Witch Project” as the first project to be tackled in this multi-film deal.
