Lisette Olivera has been cast in Season 7 of “FBI” as a behavioral analysis unit agent named Syd.

Olivera is best known for starring in “National Treasure: Edge of History,” which ran on Disney+ for one season from 2022 to 2023 and was set in the universe of the “National Treasure” film franchise. She played Jess Valenzuela, who learns that her late father was a treasure protector. Olivera’s other credits include roles in the 2021 IFC film “We Need to Do Something” and Season 4 of the webseries “Total Eclipse” in 2019.

Created by Dick Wolf, “FBI” is set in a New York office of the bureau and follows the investigations of special agents Maggie Bell (Missy Peregrym), Omar Adom “OA” Zidan (Zeeko Zaki), Isobel Castille (Alana De La Garza), Jubal Valentine (Jeremy Sisto), Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane) and Stuart Scola (John Boyd).

The series is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television in association with CBS Studios. Executive producers include Wolf, Mike Weiss, Alex Chapple, Amanda Slater, Rick Eid and Peter Jankowski.

“FBI” premiered on CBS in 2018 and is the basis of two spinoffs: “FBI: Most Wanted,” which premiered in 2020 and recently concluded its fifth season, and “FBI: International,” which premiered in 2021 and recently concluded its third season. In April, CBS renewed “FBI” for three more seasons, which will take it through its ninth season during the 2026-2027 broadcast season, while “Most Wanted” and “International” were renewed for one season each. Each of the three “FBI” series returns to the air on Oct. 15.

Deadline was first to report Olivera’s casting.
