    Fox Sports 1 Shakes Up Schedule Following Skip Bayless Exit

    Fox Sports 1 will shake up its morning schedule following the exit of hot-talk host Skip Bayless, charting a new era in its bid to vie with Disney’s ESPN.

    Two new shows, “Breakfast Ball” and “The Facility,” will anchor mornings on the cable network, starting in the fall. They lead into FS1 mainstays “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” and “First Things First” in afternoons. “Speak,” a retooled program, will air afterwards.

    “FS1 is evolving around a dynamic roster of sports talk personalities, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead,” said Charlie Dixon, the network’s executive vice president and head of content. “From early morning to late afternoon, viewers can look forward to an array of compelling sports discussions, expert analysis and exclusive interviews, all designed to keep sports enthusiasts informed and entertained throughout the day.”

    “The Facility” takes over the slot previously hosted by Bayless and his program , “Undisputed.”  The new program will feature four former football stars  Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy, James Jones and Chase Daniel, all holding forth live from Los Angeles

    “Breakfast Ball” will air between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m., and features Craig Carton, a veteran morning show host., along with Mark Schlereth and Danny Parkins. The show will debut Monday, August 26. Schlereth has been an NFL game analyst for Fox since 2017, while Parkins hails from Chicago sports radio.

    “Speak” will serve as a “last word” program that airs at 5 p.m. Joy Taylor, a longtime contributor to FS1. will team up with  Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce to talk over the biggest sports stories of the day. The show’s new trio will debut Tuesday, Sept. 3.
