Whether you’re on camera or behind the scenes on set, writing a story about the television industry or pitching your talent for said story, it’s been a busy half of 2024 in the entertainment industry.

After making it through two Emmy Awards ceremonies in a single year, it will be time to unwind, and it’s hard to imagine a better place to do that than Europe. This time, we home in on the northern region of Italy, sharing a few must-visit hotels for your next vacation in Italy.

    Baglioni Hotel Luna

For those on a larger budget, Baglioni is a must visit. Around the corner from St. Mark’s Square, the palazzo is one of the oldest in Venice, built in 1118. Transformed from a convent into an aristocratic palace of the Knights Templar, the hotel is decorated with Murano chandeliers and stunning watercolor paintings. With 68 rooms total and 36 suites, the intimate setting allows for a personal, magical getaway.

    Hotel Papadopoli Venezia

Not only is this boutique hotel in walking distance from the Grand Canal and Piazza San Marco, it’s also close enough to the Venice rail station to make getting to and from (even with luggage) an easy task. With only 96 rooms and suites, elegance takes top priority at this destination . A key tip: If you can afford it, spend the money on a suite. The sweeping canal and city views from the balcony will make you never want to leave.
