Ty Doran (“Manifest”) and Noah Lamanna (“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”) have joined the cast of Netflix’s original dramedy series “Ginny & Georgia,” which has just wrapped production on its third season.

In Season 3, Doran will play Wolfe, a laid-back student in Ginny’s (Antonia Gentry) poetry class who is not particularly interested in academics. Lamanna will play Tris, a brainy skateboarder and a peer tutor who is a close friend of Marcus (Felix Mallard) and Silver (Katelyn Wells). They join returning cast members Sara Waisglass, Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark and Nathan Mitchell.

First debuting in 2021, “Ginny & Georgia” follows Ginny Miller, an anxious 15-year-old who often feels more mature than her 30-year-old mother, Georgia (Brianne Howey), who has relocated her family to a New England town.

After its premiere in January 2023, Season 2 of “Ginny & Georgia” nabbed the No.1 spot in Netflix’s top 10 most-watched English TV shows and spent almost two months in the global top 10 rankings in 88 countries. In May of 2023, Netflix unveiled that the show would also receive a fourth season.

Series creator Sarah Lampert serves as executive producer with showrunner Sarah Glinski. Other executive producers include Jeff Tahler, Jenny Daly for Critical Content, Holly Hines, Daniel March for Dynamic Television and Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron and Armand Leo for Blue Ice Pictures.

Doran is represented by Buchwald and Crowd Management.

More details for Season 3, such as the release date and additional casting, will be unveiled at a later time.
