Demi Moore, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and filmmaker Sean Wang will be honored at Ghetto Film School’s annual Fall Benefit on Thursday, Oct. 10.

The benefit, presented by Sony and sponsored by Amazon MGM Studios and Disney, brings together leaders in the entertainment industry to support Ghetto Film School’s mission of educating, developing and celebrating the next generation of great storytellers. This year’s event will be held at the home of Veronica and Brian Grazer.

“The Benefit is a special moment where we convene our most long-standing supporters and exciting new voices to champion the accomplishments of our Fellows and alumni,” Ghetto Film School CEO Montea Robinson said in a statement. “We are thrilled to honor Demi Moore, Kelvin Harrison Jr, and Sean Wang at this year’s event on October 10th. Their work exemplifies the caliber to which our students aspire, and their personal strides in the industry reflect the mission and values of our organization in bringing up the future of film.”

This year’s prestigious host committee includes industry luminaries such as J.J. Abrams, Katie McGrath, Danielle Brooks, Quinta Brunson, Natasha Lyonne, Rooney Mara, Sandra Oh, Keke Palmer, Joaquin Phoenix, Jerelyn Rodriguez, Yara Shahidi, Tiffany R. Warren and Chloé Zhao.

Ghetto Film School is an award-winning nonprofit founded in 2000, annually serving 8,000 individuals between the ages of 14 and 34. With locations in New York City, Los Angeles and London, GFS equips students for top universities and careers in the creative industries through two tracks: the Fellows Program and ROSTER.

The Fellows Program is a 30-month cinematic storytelling course for high school students, while ROSTER ensures professional opportunities for GFS alumni and other young creatives to support early career development for the next generation of visual storytellers.
