A city employee was killed Thursday morning after the all-terrain vehicle the worker was driving ran into a fence at Fisher Road and Lakeway Drive, a news release said. According to the Fayetteville Police Department, the Fayetteville employee was collecting trash on the ATV when the vehicle "left the roadway and crashed through a fence." DENVER – A firefighter with a passion for cigars has opened an artisanal cigar store in Denver. This is the second Burners Cigar Co. owned by Josh Johnson, a full-time Charlotte firefighter. His first store, which he’s owned for 13 years, is in Birkdale Village in Huntersville. The name “Burners” came from Johnson’s father and brother because he’d often say, “Let’s go burn one,” referring to smoking a cigar.
