Quin Seider finished his high school swimming career in spectacular fashion Saturday and cemented his legacy as one of the greatest swimmers in county history.

The Nordhoff High senior captured two titles during the CIF-State Swimming & Diving Championships at Clovis Olympic Swim Complex.

The 18-year-old Seider took first in the 100 freestyle in 43.04 seconds and the 200 freestyle in 1:34.97 to secure his first state titles in his third and final trip to the state meet. The Arizona State commit finished fifth in the 50 freestyle in 20.34 and seventh in the 100 freestyle in 44.86 at the last year's state meet and placed 15th in the 50 freestyle in 21.02 and 25th in the 100 freestyle in 46.55 in 2022.

Seider's state performance came eight days after winning the 100 freestyle and 200 freestyle with record-setting times during the CIF-Southern Section Division 3 Swimming Championships at Mount San Antonio College. He won the 100 in 43.36 and 200 in 1:35.27 to finish his career with five CIF-SS individual titles.

A month ago, Seider qualified for this summer’s U.S. Olympic swimming trials in the 100 freestyle with a time of 49.84 during the Fran Crippen Memorial Swim Meet of Champions in Mission Viejo.
