PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Friday. We’ve seen a wonderful day across the county today featuring plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures. Highs this afternoon were able to reach the lower 80s, with a few fair weather clouds developing during the afternoon hours. We’ll see more sunshine heading out the door tomorrow, with cloud cover and showers approaching late in the day. This will be thanks to a cold front that’s expected to push through, leaving us with even drier air working into the region for the second half of the weekend into next week.

BUCKSPORT -- Crews in Bucksport have been hard at work shoring up the city's waterfront walkway after it was damaged in winter storms. The mile-long trail by the Eastern Channel was in disrepair.
