    UFC Paris 2024 Best Bets

UFC Paris is a great fight card that features some of the best French MMA talent in the world. Here are a few bets to make on the card to help spice up the action.

*All lines are taken from DraftKings and are accurate as of 8:20 p.m. on Friday, Sept.27.*

    Benoit Saint-Denis via KO -115

The UFC Paris main event features a lightweight bout between Benoit Saint-Denis and Renato Moicano. The Frenchman is a sizable favorite and currently sits at -285. The comeback on the dog is +230. I am siding with the favorite, but I think the knockout prop at -115 is the best way to get a bet down.

This fight is going to be a war. I have a hard time seeing it go all five rounds. Saint-Denis and Moicano are both fighters that do not shy away from a tough fight. That opens the door for both fighters to find a finish.

Ultimately, I favor Saint-Denis in the matchup because his defensive grappling should be good enough to keep that fight standing. That will allow him to throw those massive hooks and dangerous kicks. Moicano gets hit regularly in fights and Saint-Denis should be able to land shots that hurt him.

At -115, I’ll bet the favorite can land the big strikes required to finish the UFC Paris main event.

    Bryan Battle -166

At UFC Paris, Bryan Battle will fight Kevin Jousset. This matchup is easier to play from a moneyline perspective. Battle currently sits as a -166 favorite while Jousset is a +140 underdog. I’ll lay the chalk on the underdog.

This matchup features two fighters with similar skills. Battle and Jousset are both strikers who want to use their length to land shots from the outside. At range, this is going to be a tough fight that is close to call. With that being said, Battle has shown a much more diverse skillset. If the distance closes and enters boxing range or the clinch, Battle will be at an advantage. Plus, Battle is more likely to win this fight with offensive grappling.

At -166, Battle is one of my favorite bets for UFC Paris. I will gladly bet on a fighter who is more proven while also being more well-rounded.,

Dana White’s Contender Series: Season 8, Episode 7 Recap

    Bolaji Oki ITD +110

The final bet for UFC Paris is for Bolaki Oki to finish Chris Duncan. The bout is lined with Oki as a -185 favorite while Duncan is a +154 underdog. A more aggressive play on Oki is for him to get the finish. That is lined at +110.

Oki only has one fight in the UFC, but he proved to be a serious prospect on Dana White’s Contender Series . In this fight, he is taking on an opponent that has always been wiling to exchange strikes on the feet. That plays into Oki’s style.

Oki is a lethal striker with a lot of power. Plus, he has finishing instincts. I will gladly bet on Oki against unranked lightweights who will stand and trade with him for three rounds. I simply expect him to land too many dangerous strikes. Plus, he can break opponents down with bodywork.

I should clarify that the majority of Oki’s finish upside comes in the form of a knockout. That said, the difference in odds between his inside the distance and knockout props is minimal. It makes more sense to play it safe and take the prop that covers a wider range of outcomes.

At +110, Oki’s inside the distance prop is a great way to get a bet in on the favorite.
