Robert E Lubanski

Robert E Lubanski, M.D., 87 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 13, 2024. He led a remarkable life.

Robert grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey, and graduated from St Peter's Prep. He attended LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York and continued to Upstate Medical School.

After completing residency as an OB/GYN, he served his commitment to the United States Army in Fort Dix, New Jersey. In July 1968 he settled into private practice with a good friend, Dr James Rose. He would practice in Auburn for 40 years.

Bob is survived by his wife Sherry, his sons Robert Lubanski (Sheryl) and John Lubanski, his daughter Christine Cuff (Doug), grandchildren Robert, Matthew, Ethan, Amanda, and Andrew, two great-grandchildren and another great-granddaughter due in November.

Bob was predeceased by his son Richard two days before him, his parents Chester and Genevieve, and his brother Richard.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1301 Center Rd in Venice Florida on Wednesday, July 17 at 10:00 am.

A Celebration of his Life will occur in Auburn, New York at a later date.
