Butterfly lands in the arboretum

The latest addition to the statuary in the Monty Andrews Arboretum in West Blalock Park is this red butterfly, installed Wednesday. Andrews, shown here, worked with artist Luis Fernandez Lugufelo to secure the donation of the sculpture to the city, which was named a Monarch City in 2020 by Monarch City USA. The arboretum also features a butterfly garden.
