BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - A Bossier City boy just had his wish granted thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Easton, 8, recently had a heart transplant. He met Malibu at Seventh Heaven Stables in Benton, and the horse quickly became Easton’s favorite. The stables have been letting Easton ride Malibu since the two met, and even let him take the horse to shows and rodeos. BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A surface trough near the Texas Coast is bringing disturbed weather in the northern Gulf of Mexico and pushing rain showers inland throughout the day. With the tropical moisture in place, we could see heavy rain, providing a flash flood threat, especially in areas with poor drainage. For this reason, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch that will remain in effect until 7 p.m. this evening. Rain and clouds will keep the temperatures down a bit today in the mid to upper 80s for the daytime high.
