Danville Man Sentenced to 14 years in Prison for Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault
THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION COUNTY STATE’S ATTORNEY’S OFFICE RELEASE. On June 26, 2024, Logan Swisher (DOB:01/22/2002), previously of Danville, Illinois, was sentenced to 14 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, for the offense of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault, a class X felony. The sentence must be served at 85%. Swisher entered into a partial plea agreement on May 9, 2024, with a possible maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Swisher’s prison sentence will be followed by a term of mandatory supervised release of 3 years to life, to be determined by the Prison Review Board. As a part of his conviction, Swisher must also register as a sex offender for life.
Ex-Danville man gets prison for predatory sexual assault of 10-year-old girl
DANVILLE — A Vermilion County judge on Wednesday sentenced a former Danville man to 14 years in prison for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. Judge Derek Girton sentenced Logan Swisher, 22, after Swisher entered into a partial plea agreement on May 9 that carried a possible maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for predatory criminal sexual assault, a Class X felony. He must serve at least 85 percent of the prison sentence.

Kira is not fond of other dogs, but has the most amazing personality. She loves being around her people. She is just a sweet loveable ball of fur! Would do great as the spoiled only dog in the house. Peke’s do need professional grooming to keep them in top form. Adoption fee is $185.
