White Bear Lake standoff leads to suspect arrest Friday evening
WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (FOX 9) - A call for a reported domestic assault in White Bear Lake led police to a standoff with a suspect that ultimately led to him being arrested. According to the White Bear Lake Police Department, around 11 a.m. officers were called to a home near the intersection of White Bear Avenue and Rishworth Lane.

Traffic stop turns into drug bust in Cass County, MN

State Patrol IDs Two Minnesota Men Killed in Separate Crashes
(KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released the names of two people killed in separate traffic incidents Tuesday night. One of the victims was a 19-year-old man from the Grand Rapids area. The State Patrol says Carter Haithcock of Goodland was fatally injured around 11:20 PM on Tuesday when he was struck by an SUV while he was walking in the traffic lane on Highway 169 in Nashwauk. The Grand Rapids woman driving the SUV was not hurt.
