During my recent visit to Sugarbush, I had the chance to dine at The Blue Stone, and it was quite the mixed bag of experiences. The restaurant itself offers a cozy vibe, perfect for a chill evening out. I decided to try their pizza, which seems to be a hit or miss according to many. I opted for the 'pizza-pizza' with red sauce, sausage, cheese, green bell peppers, and red onions. It was delicious and came out piping hot, just as I like it. The hand-cut fries and house nachos were also standout items, with the nachos being particularly flavorful thanks to the house queso and pulled chicken.

However, not all was perfect. On a different visit, the service felt lacking, almost as if we were invisible, and the food quality didn't hit the mark. A salad that was more lettuce than anything else and greasy fried fish left much to be desired. Despite these hiccups, it's worth noting that the place can get quite busy, and the staff does seem to be working hard to provide good service, especially at the bar where the atmosphere is a bit more lively.

If you find yourself at The Blue Stone, I'd recommend trying their specialty pizzas and enjoying some of their ski-themed cocktails or a selection from their large beer list. Just be prepared for a possible wait, and maybe skip the salad!
