There are a couple of schools I might recommend, in public schools, the Elementary school in Starksboro is excellent with special needs kids. Small classes, great teachers, Lincoln was an absolute standout school when I worked there. I was a one on one para for a high needs child. They were caring, filled with ideas for coping, supported the child and the para.. in private schools ...There are 3..Willowood in Monkton( outdoor based learning) Red Cedar in Bristol and Champlain Valley Christian school in Vergennes. This child needs small classroom, a reward system for every good behavior, a para, special educator and admin who will create a team to help him like school. It has to be a very special para who is both loving and strict. Make some calls...visit the schools.. there are some farther south too but try these..
