Illinois man dies from injuries suffered in Vernon County motorcycle crash, authorities say
An Illinois man died Wednesday from injuries suffered in a Vernon County motorcycle crash on June 23, authorities reported. At about 10 a.m. on June 23, Johnathon Lee Tomlinson, 39, of Galesburg, Illinois, was driving a 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Highway 35 near Spring Coulee Road in the town of Bergen when he lost control, was ejected and sustained serious injuries, Vernon County Sheriff Roy Torgerson said in a statement.
