    Verona Township Council Approves Stop Sign on Claremont Avenue

    VERONA, NJ - The Verona Township Council passed an ordinance during Monday’s Council meeting aimed at improving resident safety.

    The Council unanimously approved an ordinance that would allow the township to install a stop sign at the intersection of Claremont Avenue and Cumberland Avenue, an area the Council says has a higher rate of accidents.

    Another ordinance was introduced, focused on the acquisition and improvement of a parking lot located at 46 Lakeside Avenue. A public hearing for this ordinance will be held at the next council meeting on July 22.
