Care Power Hour at T.J. Health Pavilion aims to make impact
GLASGOW, Ky.- The second annual Care Power Hour is making an impact, where T.J. Samson is breaking barriers to ensure that everyone experiences the care they need. Dozens gathered for a Care Power Hour at T.J. Regional Health, honoring Geraldine Flowers Glass and opening the community up to different resources available for any patient who undergoes any form of treatment.

Kaitlyn Marks is entering her second year at Grapevine Elementary School in Madisonville, and she has learned many ways to make each learning session with a child unique.

High Five Rural Traffic Safety Project Launched in Lyon County
Various agencies and local leaders gathered in Eddyville Friday morning to launch the High Five Rural Traffic Safety Project to enhance safety and save lives in Lyon County. Deputy Director Ryan Fisher of the Kentucky Department of Highway Safety highlighted the success of the program’s seat belt initiative, which has been effective across the Commonwealth based on a pilot project in 2023. He mentioned that in Lyon County, the objective of the High Five Rural Seat Belt Program is to increase safety and save lives.
