Reality Town: Union Middle students learn real-life scenarios through simulation
Brooke Gundersen wasn’t ready to be a “grandmother”—let alone, three times over. Luckily, it was a mock situation for her daughter who is an eighth-grader at Union Middle School. It was part of Reality Town, a simulation of real-life earning a living and being able to budget and pay for their expenses.

Mud springs mountain bike trail system receives $350k in grant funding
A highly anticipated mountain bike trail system, Mud Springs, is estimated to have an economic effect of around $4.5 million dollars annually once it’s completed, according to an impact analysis. Small plane crashes in Roy neighborhood after inflight emergency
ROY, Utah, July 24, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Investigators from multiple agencies responded to the scene of a small plane crash in a Roy neighborhood. Roy City Police Sgt. Josh Taylor told Gephardt Daily the twin engine aircraft with two people aboard went down Wednesday about 3:55 p.m. in the front yard of a home near 2350 W. 4550 South.
