The “MMM MMM” rhymer took to her social media accounts on Sunday (Jul 21) to announce that she is expecting, while also sharing a snippet of her next single, “Big One.”
Wearing a blue two-piece set that shows off her baby bump, the 23-year-old rapped: “Ooo he did his big one with this one right here/ I be in his pockets ya’ll bi**hes be in his ear/ He want me to be his bm, bi**h get out my DM/ If he can’t fill my bank account, then I can’t come and see him.”
On Instagram, Kaliii’s comment section filled with shocked responses , congratulations messages, and support from her fans and peers.
“Congratulations beautiful,” Halle Bailey commented as Dani Leigh said, “what a baddie mommy to be.” Kaliii also received congrats from Lola Brooke, Maiya The Don, Lady London, Monaleo, Sexyy Red, Rubi Rose, and many more.
Another person called out how many women in music have announced a pregnancy this summer. “Mannnn, hot girl summer 2023 really did a number on these men, they not letting ANYONE have it this year,” they wrote.
Kaliii’s milestone follows the pregnancies of Ashanti, Folayan of Flyana Boss, Kash Doll, Ella Mai, and more — as well as rumors of Cardi B expecting what would be her third child.
During the 2024 BET Experience , the “Bodak Yellow” rapstress sparked pregnancy rumors when she wore an oversized dress while performing. The embellished outfit accentuated what appeared to be a baby bump. Cardi was also spotted in New York City recently wearing another loosely fitting ensemble.
As for Kaliii, she hasn’t revealed who she shares her forthcoming child with, nor a due date.
