    Wale Announces 2024 Every Blue Moon Tour Dates

    Wale is hitting the road. The 39-year-old rapper shared dates for the upcoming Every Blue Moon Tour. Sharing a trailer for the trek across social media, Every Blue Moon promises not only new music, but celebrates the 15th anniversary of Wale’s 2009 debut LP, Attention Deficit.

    Kicking off on Sept. 19 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., the Grammy-nominated rapper has planned stops in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and more before wrapping up in Birmingham, Ala., at Iron City on Nov. 7. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday (Aug. 16) at 10:00 a.m. local time through the official website.

    “The moon is in the sky, look up,” wrote the “Ambition” performer on Instagram. “I missed yall. Let’s get into it.”

    The trailer for the show features new, unreleased music from the poetic rhymer. Wale’s last album Folarin’ II was released in in 2021 and features J. Cole, Cool & Dre, Jamie Foxx, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Maxo Kream, and more. His popular 2010 mixtape More About Nothing was issued to streaming services in 2022.

    He joined rap duo EARTHGANG on their track “Options” in 2021 and linked up with Nigerian musician Odumodublvck in 2023 for “Blood On The Dancefloor” which also features Bloody Civilian. That same year, Wale released the standalone “Max Julien” and appears in the remix of Masego’s “You Never Visit Me,” also with ENNY. This year so far, Wale is featured in Rag ‘N’ Bone Man’s “What Do You Believe In?”

    In 2023, Wale signed a new deal with Def Jam, signaling a new era in his career.
