A version of “SOD” had been leaked as “Supersoak” by streamer and influencer Kai Cenat, but that version featured a verse from Lil Yachty. “Even before its official release, it caused issues after Yachty tried to clear a sample from Mr. HotSpot that was included on the track, but was denied usage unless the rappers did a clean version of the song per his religious beliefs,” per Variety .

In the meantime, Lil Yachty unfollowed Drake on Instagram.
