Any hopes for a potential reconciliation between Mustard and Drake were dashed by the producer, who says he has no intention of working on any music with the rap star.

In an interview published by The Los Angeles Times this past Wednesday (Aug. 21), Mustard was asked if he’d ever consider collaborating with Drake again given their seeming fallout in light of his production on Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss, “Not Like Us.”

According to Mustard, he has no desire to work with Drake, who appeared on YG’s 2014 single, “Who Do You Love?” which Mustard produced. “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude,” he told the newspaper, describing the Canadian hitmaker as “a strange guy.”

Mustard’s hesitance to get in the studio with Drake comes weeks after the Cali native accused Drake of attempting to sabotage the success of his new album , Faith of a Mustard Seed , by having OVO producer Gordo to release his own album, Diamante , on the same day

Amid reports of the tentative first week sales of Faith of a Mustard Seed , the boardsman took to social media to lash out at Drake, mockingly comparing the rapper to Malcolm X, as well as content creator DJ Akademiks.

“Drake is the Malcolm x of [White] people [tears of joy emoji] and [DJ Akademiks] make sure you post @GordoSZN first week since drake thought he did a thing with making him drop on the same day as me [tears of joy emoji],” Mustard wrote in his post.
