Enchanting’s cause of death has been revealed. Two months after the rapper, née Channing Nicole Larry, died unexpectedly, People reports that the rising star succumbed to the toxic side effects of oxycodone and benzodiazepines.

Benzodiazepines are known depressants subscribed to patients as Valium, Xanax, and Halcion, often used to help reduce and or alleviate anxiety. A spokesperson for the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office told the outlet that her death has since been documented as accidental.

TMZ first reported that Gucci Mane’s protégé died in June. A representative for Larry revealed that, at that time, the rapper was reportedly going through withdrawal from a drug addiction, saying, “She came to my house the last four days to get clean . She tried her best, and I did everything I could to help her; she tried.”

The outlet states that she had been admitted to a hospital following a drug overdose and ultimately died after being taken off of life support. Enchanting’s friend and fellow Texas rapper Lil CJ Kasino posted to Instagram, echoing the outlet’s report that she had been taken off of life support, posting a heartfelt message to pay tribute to the late artist.

Gucci paid tribute to the rising talent in an IG post following her death. He paid his respects to Larry, typing, “So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant @luvenchanting.”

Enchanting first signed to Gucci Mane’s New 1017 Records in 2020, delivering a guest verse on the Guwop’s “Left on Read” for the album Gucci Mane Presents So Icy Summer. Her debut single, “No Luv,” featuring Gucci, K Shiday, Key Glock, and Big Scarr, became a fan favorite for which she has since become synonymous.

Enchanting then dropped her debut album, No Luv, in November 2022 and followed up with her 2023 effort, Luv Scarred both through 1017 Records .
