Fat Joe, Cool & Dre, and Remy Ma are bringing the Bronx energy in their latest music video for “Outta Control.” The frequent collaborators linked up for the JakeTheShooter-directed visual which includes flashy cars, dancers, a boxing ring, and even a cop car serving as the backdrop to their tag team performance. The production also ties all elements together with a sample of DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince’s iconic 1991 hit “The Summertime.”

During his hard-hitting verse, Joey Crack speaks to his haters and even throws in a Caitlin Clark reference. “That AP so icy, call it the North Face/ We ain’t trippin’ off haters, n**ga, we all hate/ 20K on the drip, that’s on a north day/ I never lacked, Joe Crack, a bat to black metal/ It’s a cold world when n**gas start to backpedal/ Caitlin Clark with the rock, they say I’m stat-stuffin’, and I tell her I owe a b**ch nothin’/ Going dumb up in Starlets ’til they threw me out,” he raps.

The “Conceited” rapper makes a memorable entrance after the hook with her bold opening line, spitting, “They said I shot a friend over a band, and?/ Imagine what I’d do to a b**ch that I can’t stand/ Right now, I’m on the edge, so don’t push me/ Need my d**k sucked so bad, but all I got is this good p**sy.”

The duo went viral shortly after the video dropped because fans were quick to point out that both rappers took of their shirts during the clip. Social media users swiftly reacted to the offering, with one user joking, “‘Fat Joe and Remy Ma both go topless’ is an insane sentence lmao.” Another fan hyped up Remy’s opening line, typing, “This is the hardest opening line of a rap verse this year.”

Although Fat Joe hasn’t dropped off a project since 2019’s Family Ties with Dre, he has gifted fans with a few features throughout 2023 and 2024, delivering verses on tracks like “South Bronx” by Dyce Payso, “How We Get It” by AZ, and “Saturday Night Special” with LL Cool J and Rick Ross. Remy Ma dropped off “YUPP!” in 2023 with Ghostface Killah and also “Ghetto & Ratchet” with Connie Diamond.
