    Megan Thee Stallion Stars In Pepsi’s ‘Gladiator’-Inspired NFL Campaign

    Megan Thee Stallion gives “real hot girl sh*t” a historical update in a new brand campaign, ready to “Make Your Gameday Epic.” Partnering with Pepsi , the Houston rapper sits as an empress, celebrating the return of the NFL season and the release of Paramount Pictures’ Gladiator II in theaters this fall.

    The Grammy-winning performer reimagines “We Will Rock You” for the music video-inspired ad, which also features NFL stars Josh Allen, Derrick Henry, Justin Jefferson, and Travis Kelce, locked in an epic battle as Gridiron Gladiators.

    “I’m honored to follow in the footsteps of the legends who appeared in this Gladiator campaign 20 years ago and proud to have carved my own new legacy,” said Megan Thee Stallion. The two-decade-old commercial starred Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Pink.

    The “Body” rapper continued, “Pepsi really brought the worlds of music, sports, and entertainment together in a powerful way to set off the new NFL season. It was fun putting my creative flip on such an iconic Queen song and I can’t wait for the Hotties to hear it!”

    “Bringing the epic world o f Gladiator II to life in a modern, dynamic way through this Pepsi campaign was incredibly exciting,” added Jake Scott, director of the “Make Your Gameday Epic” campaign. It is produced by Ridley Scott Associates, Paramount Brand Studio.

    “We wanted to create a visual spectacle that captured the energy and intensity of the sport while also paying homage to the iconic film and the original Pepsi campaign. The collaboration with Pepsi and the incredible talent involved made this project truly unforgettable.”

    Gladiator II stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington, Joseph Quinn, and Connie Nielsen. In a recent interview, Washington called the anticipated film the “biggest film I’ve been on.”
