Tems Addresses Pregnancy Rumors With Future And People Loving Her Curvy Figure

While appearing on The Breakfast Club today (Sept. 10), Tems not only spoke on her new album Born In The Wild , but bizarre pregnancy rumors dating back to 2023 involving rapper, Future.

DJ Envy began the conversation by asking the “ Love Me JeJe ” singer if she ever has to clear up rumors with her family members.

“Oh yeah,” she began. “I feel like people just take the most controversial thing you can think of. Because I was thinking, why am I pregnant [and] why Future? Because that’s the craziest. Why not Wiz[kid]? Why not Drake? Why not somebody else?”

In Sept. 2023, Tems was accused of being impregnated by her “Wait For U” collaborator, to which she seemingly denied online. “In conclusion, you people are all mad!!!” she wrote at the time with a photo of herself.

In an interview with the Nigerian platform, Drive Time Show , Tems also said that she was “shocked” people fell for the rumors, while adding that she had received death threats over the “untrue” claims.

“I didn’t actually think anybody believed it,” she began. “I didn’t know it was serious, I didn’t know until I started getting messages, like death threats. Like, ‘How dare you! Of all the people in the world, Future? Really? Really, of all the people?’ And I’ve never even—I’ve never met him in my life. So, it’s cr*zy.”

As Tems’ body shows no signs of pregnancy, she also spoke on how some people only love her for her natural curves. Around the 39:00-minute mark of her TBC interview, the 29-year-old answered if she’s ever bothered by people speaking on her figure.

“People react to your shape, does it bother you?” guest-host Loren Lorosa asked. “Not at all,” Tems responded. “I don’t even notice it unless they’re telling me directly like, ‘Oh you’re beautiful’ or ‘You look good.’ I just think people are happy to see me.”

She added, “If they’re happy to see me because of my body — I don’t know, I don’t care. I’m just like ‘Okay.'”
