Ray J Explains Altercation With Princess Love To Their Children In Alarming Audio

Disturbing audio seemingly shares Ray J explaining a physical altercation between him and his estranged wife, Princess Love, to their children. In video clips uploaded on Thursday (Sept. 12) by Live Bitez, the singer can be heard speaking to his two children, Melody, 6, and Epik, 4. Princess Love’s voice is not heard in the clips.

“I just want to make sure. Are you good? Dada never did nothing to nobody. Mama never did nothing to me, dada never did nothing to mama, right?” he asks the small children. “Have dada put hands on mama, or mama put hands on dada? No, right? Okay, so there’s no reason to call the police. We’re just making a movie. We’re just playing, okay?”

In a second clip, he remarks “Everything is okay” to a crying child. “I want Epik to just tell mama that he’s going with me so mama knows what’s going on.”

Melody adds, “I love my brother,” as she continues to cry, getting reassurance from her dad that the situation is okay.

“Mama wants to take your hug,” details one of the kids, and Ray J replies, “Then everything’s okay? Alright, cool.”

In February, Princess Love announced a divorce from Ray J, making their fourth overall filing.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our decision to divorce. After much reflection, discussion, and counseling, we have come to the difficult realization that our paths have diverged, and it is in the best interest of both of us to part ways,” she wrote.

The couple were married in 2016 and the first divorce filing came in 2020, with subsequential splits again in 2020 and 2021. Earlier this year, she was rumored to be dating John Boyega, although a relationship was never confirmed.
