Cardi B Shares First Photos Of Newborn Baby Girl: “The Prettiest Lil Thing”

Cardi B finally showed off her new bundle of joy Thursday (Sept. 12) with a series of photos and videos online.

“The prettiest lil thing,” Cardi captioned the post with photos of her holding her youngest daughter, who she delivered on “9/7/24.”

The photos show Cardi breastfeeding, pushing in the delivery room, and an appearance from Offset, from whom she’s divorcing . Cardi B and Offset, who married in 2017, also share a daughter, Kulture, and son, Wave.

Earlier this month, PageSix reported that an official rep for Cardi confirmed that the “Up” rapper filed divorce papers on July 31. The source added that Offset potentially cheating with an ex was not the sole reason.

“They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else,” the insider told the publication. “This is something she wants to do.”

The former Migos rapper was accused of hanging out with alleged ex, Big PrettyRedz, in July. In response, Offset took to his Instagram to say, “Shawty ain’t my shawty. People really need to do the research…I’m at a public place gambling at a casino with a married 8 month Pregnant woman, wtf I look like being outside publicly cheating SMD!!!”

PrettyRedz also took to her Instagram to confirm her pregnancy, denying any relationship with Offset.

“It’s completely crazy that I even have to do this! PLEASE! If not for me…PLEASE RESPECT MY LATE HUSBAND!” she wrote at the time. “I am carrying the last gift my husband will give this earth. All I want it [sic] peace! If you[sic]r looking for a story…there is NOTHING to see here!!!!!”

Cardi and Offset’s marriage woes date back to 2018 when they first separated, reconciling shortly after. Cardi filed for divorce in Sept. 2020, just to take her man back within a month. In Dec. 2023, the 31-year-old announced a separation again, and was then spotted with him on New Year’s Eve, where she admitted to hooking up with him.

Just last month, the couple was spotted taking Kulture to Disneyland Paris . As of now, it isn’t clear if Cardi is still divorcing Offset. but the two look madly in love with their newest addition to their family.
