Samuel L. Jackson is celebrating three decades of Pulp Fiction with a masterclass of memorization . The 75-year-old actor took to Instagram on Monday (Oct. 14) to display how righteous he truly is.

Bar for bar, Jackson delivered his iconic speech from Quentin Tarantino’s hit film, almost moving seamlessly back into his role as Jules Winnfield. “YOU KNOW I STILL GOT IT!!! EZEKIEL 25:17,” Jackson typed, as the video showed him flawlessly delivering the bible verse from heart. “HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF PULP FICTION .”

Pulp Fiction was released in 1994 to critical acclaim, featuring a cast looking to prove themselves and establish their careers equally. Jackson starred alongside John Travolta’s Vincent Vega, a hitman and businessman. The duo, in tandem with Uma Thurman’s Mia Wallace, left film festivals in awe of what they could do with a satirically brutal piece of writing , garnering massive nods, including a couple of Oscar nominations in 1995. Jackson uploaded a post honoring the film’s magnitude and the positive impact it had on the cast for years to come.

PULP FICTION is 30! This movie launched like a rocket out of Cannes and changed my life,” Jackson typed. “It debuted in theaters on this day in 1994, and I’ll always remember the audience’s reaction. I knew this film was something special after that…AND 30 YEARS LATER, IT STILL IS.”

Most recently, Pulp Fiction producer Lawrence Bender spoke to Variety about the movie. Bender detailed how Samuel L. Jackson also didn’t make it on the cast as Jules after some miscommunication regarding his audition.

“When Sam came in, he was great,” Bender recalled. “But then someone else came in and blew us away, and I had to call Sam’s agent and said, ‘We might have to go with that other person.’ And she said, ‘No, no, no, you can’t do that. Sam will come back.’ I didn’t want to make Sam come in and audition again. But it turned out that Sam thought he was just coming in to read. He didn’t think he was actually auditioning. So he came back in and just blew the doors off.”

    And the rest is history.

Hey, throw on Pulp Fiction for the 30th anniversary one time for the time. In the meantime, watch the social media clip above.
