Keke Palmer has a new role, and it is not on screen.

The actress has been named the Chief Brand Officer of Revlon’s Creme of Nature haircare line . The news was exclusively reported by WWD on Tuesday (Oct. 15) and notes the 31-year-old is the first to take the title.

“We wanted to work with someone who truly understands hair and is more than a face for our campaigns…[Palmer’s] authentic voice and deep understanding of our audience will help us craft messages that truly connect with our consumers,” explained Chandra Coleman, head of marketing for hair and personal care brands at Revlon, to the platform.

Creme Of Nature is a Black-founded and Black-led brand with Chicago roots. Founded in 1976, the company offers a full assortment of proven, high-quality hair products for care, styling, and color designed specifically for coily, curly, and wavy hair, according to a press release.

“What really stood out to me about Creme of Nature is their commitment to celebrating Black beauty. From the start, they’ve been crafting effective, high-quality products that really cater to our unique hair textures and needs,” relayed Palmer in a statement.

“This partnership means so much more than just being an ambassador or face of the brand, but more importantly, I get to have a voice in shaping the future of a company that truly cares about the same things I do – authenticity, representation, and natural beauty. I am equally passionate about ensuring that we continue to create products that resonate with our community and celebrate the diversity of textured hair.”

The Nope star will be featured throughout Creme of Nature’s social and digital media campaigns, in-store displays, and national advertising, and will make live appearances on behalf of the brand starting later this year.

The boy mom shared the news with a clip on social media. Wearing a cream suit and sporting her natural curls, Palmer discusses her longstanding ties with the brand as a consumer and her excitement to take on the role of Chief Brand Officer.

“This Chicago-founded, legacy haircare brand has been a staple in my family for generations, so you know I’m ready to step in as the Big Boss and get to work! Let’s make some magic!” she wrote on Instagram.
