Lindsay Adams and Mikayla Davis, both of Vicksburg, recently served as pages for the Mississippi House of Representatives. Pages generally run errands for officials and House staff.

Adams, 17, is the daughter of  Adrian and Willie Wardley Sr., and she is a junior at River City Early College.

Davis, 17, is the daughter of Kawanda Simpson and Ricky Davis, and she is a junior at Warren Central High School.

Both young ladies were sponsored for the week by Representative Oscar Denton (D–Vicksburg).

When asked about her week at the Capitol, Adams said, “Serving as a page in the Mississippi House of Representatives was an excellent opportunity. Thank you to Representative Denton for this experience. I would love to come back and serve next year.”

“I had a wonderful experience serving as a page in the House,” added Davis. “I would also love to come back next year. Thank you, Representative Denton”
