The Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Pocatello hosted its yearly Greek Fest on Saturday, which saw thousands of people waiting in line. Once in the courtyard, the hungry crowds had access to an expansive menu of Greek food to purchase.

The visiting Saints got on the board first, scoring in the 13th minute. NNU answered back just five minutes later, however, when Johnny Ramirez scored off an assist from Alex Barragan to even things up at the 17:03 mark.
Lewis-Clark State College Sports Information
LEWISTON, Idaho – The 2024 Hells Canyon Grand Invitational concluded on Friday with a tight five-set battle between former Frontier Conference rivals LC State and Carroll College (Mont.). In the first meeting between the two volleyball teams since 2019, the Fighting Saints of Carroll took the contest 3-2 (25-20, 26-28, 25-15, 20-25, 15-7). “I knew that having Carroll on our schedule meant that we would face a high volleyball IQ program,” Head Coach Katie Palmer said. “Coach Boyle does a great job preparing her team. We needed to learn their hitters faster and make adjustments defensively again. With that being said, Natany’s 33 digs were well-earned. We will get back in the gym on Monday to continue working toward a more diverse offense.”

Cooper Helmke: trading in Jambalaya for Taters; Louisiana kicker looks to make a name for himself in Boise
College football recruiting is a fascinating and mostly unknown sector of the sports world. So many shady deals and happenings take place every day. While perhaps not quite as clandestine, the world of college kicker/punter recruiting is its own enigma within the recruiting world. Kickers, more than any other position,...

TWIN FALLS, Idaho - The CSI Women's Soccer Club came up just short in what would end up being their first loss of the young season to 16th-ranked Casper College on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Eagles out shot the Thunderbirds in the first half, but Casper made the most of...
Bengals' second-half woes against in-state rival Boise State lead to first loss of the season
The Idaho State women’s soccer team lived up to all its newfound esteem for more than a half at in-state rival Boise State Friday night. But then the harsh reality set in. The Bengals, who started off the season with a win and a tie against two other formidable opponents on the road to rise to eighth in the regional coaches poll this week, appeared poised for another favorable result....

Governor Little Needs to Show Courage in the Face of Wildfires
The Wapiti Fire doubled in size over the weekend. Evacuations were underway in Idaho’s central highlands. People are grabbing a few clothes and medicines and fleeing. They may have nothing to return to when it’s over. My troubles in life are minor in comparison. In a post last Friday I made it clear this didn’t need to happen. People dictate forest management in a far-away national capital, and they’re listening to limousine liberals with no clue about life in Idaho, which is why there’s so little national news coverage about our plight.
Jaw-Dropping Report Names One Idaho College “Worst In America”
There are many reasons to distrust the standard US News & World Report rankings of the Best Colleges In America. Author Malcolm Gladwell has done plenty of research to prove the lack of fundamental research in the annual report, which seems critical for colleges to be highly ranked. It's no surprise that the top three schools in 2024 are Princeton and MIT, and a tie for third between Harvard and Stanford.
