    Authorities continue search for missing upstate NY man

    A search for a missing 83-year-old Victor man is ongoing in Ontario County.

    Reginald Vardon was last seen at State Route 96 in the village of Victor on July 15, according to Ontario County Sherriff's Office.

    Vardon was seen wearing an orange long-sleeve shirt, black pants, a white baseball cap and a teal backpack, the release stated.

    On July 19, the Ontario County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Fishers, Victor and Farmington Fire Departments to search the Auburn Trail, where Vardon is known to frequent. Police said the search was met with negative results.

    According to police, Vardon is Asian, 5-foot-1,110 pounds, has brown eyes and grey hair.

    Anyone who has had contact with Vardon or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the Ontario County Sheriff's Office at 585-394-4560.
