    The Buckeye catalyst program is now accepting applications until 30 September 2021

    BUCKEYE, AZ - Catalyst Program is a redevelopment program designed to attract private investment in Buckeye. Businesses/investors can apply for up to $50,000 of reimbursable funding for their development through the program. A good project would serve an Economic Development purpose and provide a public benefit.

    By offering up to $50,000 in City funding (per project), the Economic Development Catalyst Program rehabilitates existing commercial, industrial, and mixed-use properties.

    Commercial or industrial property must meet one of the following requirements to qualify. A project that is located within the municipal boundaries of the City of Buckeye will be eligible for point if its purpose is considered to be an Economic Development Purpose by the City. An eligible improvement is typically a facade improvement, a permanent landscape improvement, a public parking facility, or other maintenance necessary to bring a property up to current code compliance.

    The application period is open for 30 days in March every year. Upon screening applications in March and awarding appropriate funding, a second application process may be opened in the summer if additional funding is available.
