Pothole operation to disrupt portion of Bear Valley Road traffic in Victorville

Potholing operations will temporarily close a portion of Bear Valley Road in Victorville.

City officials announced that portions of westbound Bear Valley Road between Monte Vista Road and Bellflower Street will be closed for road work from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 7, 8, 13, and 16.

To maintain traffic flow, flaggers will be on the scene directing commuters to pass intermittently from the west and east.

Traffic delays are expected, and motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to avoid the area if possible. Those who must travel in the vicinity are asked to use extreme caution and to obey all posted traffic signs, devices, and personnel, city officials said.
