Collector alert: San Bernardino County Sheriff's Dept. to host 'pop-up event' in Hesperia

The latest "pop-up event" in the High Desert is happening Wednesday, but it isn't coming from a designer clothing brand or a boutique accessory retailer, but rather the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.

The agency is planning a pop-up-style meet-and-greet and merchandise sale from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hesperia Police Department, 15840 Smoke Tree Street, officials announced Tuesday evening via social media.

"Limited-edition" merchandise, including challenge coins, patches pins and more, will be offered for sale, organizers said.

The event is being hosted by the Sheriff's Public Affairs Division.
