    Victorville traffic signal upgrades scheduled this month

    Victorville city officials have issued a commuter and pedestrian alert as public work crews prepare to upgrade traffic signals along Seventh Street.

    Work at various locations is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Aug. 19 to Aug. 23 each day as Elecnor Belco conducts the traffic signal upgrades.

    During the upgrades, traffic signals will be shut down and temporarily replaced with four-way stops at the following locations:

    • Monday, Aug. 19: Seventh Street at Lorene Drive
    • Tuesday, Aug. 20: Seventh Street at Victor Street
    • Wednesday, Aug. 21: Seventh Street at Mojave Drive
    • Thursday, Aug. 22: Seventh Street at Forrest Avenue
    • Friday, Aug. 23: Seventh Street at B Street

    Commuters in the area are advised to use extreme caution and to obey all posted traffic signs, devices, and personnel. Delays are expected.
