The Victor Valley football team wrapped up the nonleague slate of the schedule with a 36-6 victory over Santa Ana on homecoming night.

The Jackrabbits improved to 5-0 on the season, a feat last accomplished by the program during the 2010 season.

Running back Victor Villa ran for four touchdowns, leading the way for the Jackrabbits.

Victor Valley got on the board in hurry Friday night. The Jackrabbits took a quick 2-0 lead after a bad snap by Santa Ana led to Davion Swan scoring a safety.

That led to Villa running in a touchdown a minute later, giving the Jackrabbits a 9-0 lead.

After recovering a fumble from Santa Ana, the Jackrabbits upped the lead to 16-0 on another rushing touchdown from Villa early in the second quarter.

Villa scored a touchdown run in the final minutes of the second quarter, giving the Jackrabbits a 22-point lead at halftime.
