CityServe to Host 'We Love Adelanto' community event on Friday

Collaboration-based CityServe and a variety of ministries will host the “We Love Adelanto” community event this week Adelanto Stadium & Event Center.

The free family day of fun is open to the public and will offer food, games and the giveaway of toys and household items. No registration is required, organizers said.

Partnering ministries for the Adelanto event include New Life Ministries, Moses House Ministries, Curbside Community Center and Journey Foursquare Church. CityServe trains, equips, and mobilizes the local church to serve community through compassion, the nonprofit stated.

CityServe also brings the church to the table to address community challenges by offering long-lasting relationships that lead to transformation and has been designated a “Community of Faith and Opportunity” by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, organizers stated.

The “We Love Adelanto” event is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, at Adelanto Stadium & Event Center, 12000 Stadium Way.
