VIDEO: Jim Harbaugh Should Have Fired Josh Gattis, Not Given Him A Contract Extension
Michigan Football Report host James Yoder with today’s news on Jim Harbaugh giving Josh Gattis a contract extension AND raise if he is still the Wolverines offensive coordinator in the 2022 season. Gattis originally signed a 3-year deal in January 2019 - and with 1 year remaining on his contract, he’s now been extended through the 2022 season. Part of the deal allows him to make up to $400,000 more in bonuses and will earn an extra $100,000 in 2022 - receiving a $1,000,000 salary, up from the $900,000 he will make in 2021.
