16-year-old Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run
A 16-year-old boy is dead after being struck by a car on State Route 360 Saturday night, the Cobb Police Department reports. Police say the driver of the vehicle drove off. The minor was walking in the right lane of State Route 360 at the intersection of Cunningham Road at 11 p.m. when he was struck by a red Hyundai Santa Fe, police report. Shortly after striking the minor, police say the driver fled the scene. The victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cobb police at 770-499-3987.
