Jefferson City man faces felony charge after traffic stop leads to drug arrest
A Jefferson City traffic stop turned into a drug arrest on Tuesday evening. A release from the Jefferson City Police Department said that an officer tried to make a traffic stop in the 700 block of Marshall Street. The release stated that Larry Wayne Davis, Jr., ran from the stop.
Huntsville Man Arraigned for Drug Possession
HUNTSVILLE, Mo - A Huntsville man was arraigned Monday in Randolph County on a felony possession of a controlled substance charge. The Randolph County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant of 40-year-old Samuel A. Berry's property Thursday. There they recovered a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine, weighing 20.6 grams. Both the baggie and a syringe with residue tested positive for methamphetamine. Both items were sent to the Missouri State highway Patrol Laboratory in Jefferson City for further analysis.
