Fire department rescues cats from house fire in Palmer Lake
PALMER LAKE, Colo. (KRDO) - The Monument Fire Department (MFD) responded to a house fire in Palmer Lake where two people were rescued and 15-20 cats were found. MFD says that when crews arrived cats were jumping out of windows. So far crews have rescued 7 cats and found 3 dead. DENVER — Ed Greene has decided to retire from Denver media, for good. On Friday, July 25, Greene announced his retirement during his final appearance on 9NEWS Mornings. "It's time to retire for me," Greene said on the 9NEWS Mornings broadcast Friday. "You know, 47 years doing the weather, nobody has done sports or news or weather longer than that. So, I feel like I've accomplished something. Pretty proud of that."
